What is it like to be a Customer Success Manager at Retail Unity?

In this role, you’ll be responsible for ensuring that our retail clients are successful in using our SaaS tools and services. You’ll work closely with clients to understand their needs and requirements, and manage the development of custom solutions and features in our inbound scrum boards. And with a focus on providing exceptional customer service, you’ll make sure our clients feel heard and supported, especially during peak sales events and other important milestones.

But it doesn’t stop there! As a proactive and strategic member of the team, you’ll also identify opportunities to upsell existing tools and services and educate clients on new features and capabilities as they are released. You’ll work closely with the sales and marketing teams to identify opportunities for growth and expansion with existing clients, and stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments.

  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, serving as the primary point of contact for their needs and inquiries.
  • Demonstrated understanding of clients’ business goals and objectives.
  • Experience managing the scoping and priorities on new developments in inbound boards, working closely with development teams.
  • Proactive approach to identifying opportunities to upsell existing tools and services.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on making clients feel heard and supported, particularly during peak sales events and other important milestones.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to monitor client satisfaction and usage metrics and provide regular reports and updates to the management team.
  • Knowledge of industry trends and developments, with a desire to stay up-to-date on the latest developments.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Retail and SaaS expertise: With a Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, sales, or at least 5 years of experience in customer success, account management, or a related role, you’ll bring a strong understanding of the retail industry and the SaaS business model to the table.
  • Project management pro: Familiarity with Atlassian or similar tools will help us all stay organized and manage multiple tasks and projects with ease.
  • Communication master: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are a must, as you’ll be building and maintaining strong relationships with clients in both English and Dutch.
  • Problem-solver extraordinaire: Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are essential for this role, as you’ll be helping clients overcome challenges and achieve their business goals.
  • Proactive and strategic: A proactive and strategic approach to customer success is key, as you’ll be helping clients succeed and identify opportunities for growth.
